Mira Course in wales

An evening for networking! Join us at the "Old Town Hall", which is one of the loveliest buildings of Hannover and placed in the middle of Hannover's old town. The original walls of the Old Town Hall originate from the mid-15th century. Worthy of particular notice are the pinnacle gable and the clay moulding. The wonderful aura of the restaurant is due to the extraordinary combination of the unique brick cross-vaults and the glass roof of the atrium which rests on pillars.

There are bus transfers (shuttle service) offered from Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) to the "Old Town Hall" at 19.00 free of charge.

Library Visits

German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB)

In its role as the German National Library for all areas of engineering as well as architecture, chemistry, information technology, mathematics and physics the TIB has spent over 50 years successfully meeting the challenge of being an innovative and competent information provider.
On the basis of its superb holdings, the TIB today ranks as one of the world's largest specialist libraries and one of the most efficient document suppliers in its subject areas.

The TIB holds a comprehensive stock of technical literature pertaining to engineering and the natural sciences. The library places a particular emphasis on acquiring the grey literature of its subject areas, which is difficult to acquire and not available in bookshops. This unique part of the TIB holdings comprises around 7.3 million volumes of books, microforms and CD-ROMs, as well as around 18,000 subscriptions to general periodicals and specialist journals. The stock includes conference reports, research reports, patent documents, norms and standards, dissertations, and specialist East European and East Asian literature. As part of the future-oriented development of the Digital Library, the TIB is continuously expanding its range of electronic publications (www.tib-hannover.de)

The TIB is part of the network Goportis, the three German National Libraries (TIB, ZB MED, ZBW) which hosts the ILDS 2009 (www.goportis.de)
